VTU - A Joke!!

VTU stands for pathetic evaluation, ancient syllabus, 4 subjects in 8th semester, no industrial project and what not. Just when you think you have seen enough of Balveer Reddy's antics, you are totally wrong!! There is more yet to come. You see..... that is something very unique about Balveer Reddy and his comedy show named VTU. It keeps you entertained through out the 4 years of engineering.

Yet another time, VTU question papers somehow managed to slip into the hands of the students. First it started with 7th semester Mechanical subject - Heat and Mass Transfer followed by another mechanical paper the very next day. VTU was on a hat-trick but surprisingly, things went well after that!!! They send a "VTU Squad" consisting of hefty & intimidating people who are supposed to monitor the conduction of exams. I have to admit that they are doing a great job by throwing away innocent students for carrying driving licence and ten Rupees into examination hall on the grounds of malpractice. According to the squad, you must also not use "Scientific Calculators" with memory. In other words, we are supposed to solve complicated CDMA mobile communication problems using Flintstones era calculators. But people, fear not because VTU has a solution for all these examination related problems - Confiscate mobile phones and randomly throw away students!!!

I can go on and on about VTU but then I would have to change my blog's title to "Crib Blog". Eitherways I am very happy about one thing though - Sir M. Visvesvaraya did not live long enough to see his name being misused.
